Viewing and Accessing Drives

:|Hi everyone,
I m very new to Linux OpenSUSE.
I am using 500GB hard disk with Core2Duo processor. I was having four partitions of 100,100,100 and 200 respectively.
I have installed OpenSUSE in 2nd 100GB partition.Till now it was fine. And I can access both operating systems of OpenSUSE and Windows.
Now the problem is, when I am logging in to OpenSUSE, I am not able to view and access other partitions.
Please anybody can tell me that, How can I access Windows other Partitions?

Ur cooperation withh be highly appreciated.

Gice us the output of

fdisk -l

and

cat /etc/fstab

(as root).

Edit: And welcome to te Forums.

They are permanent partitions (not usb). They are “windows” partitions so they are either fat32 or ntfs. You must make directories, one for each windows “drive”, where the windows “drives”/partitions will be mounted. Then for each drive you make an entry in the file system table so that it will mount at boot time. Then the files will become accessible.

The particulars are here for fat32 drives: openSUSE: HowTo set disk access permissions for Fat32 (VFAT) on a desktop PC
and here for ntfs drives: HowTo Mount NTFS Filesystem Partition Read Write Access in openSUSE 10, 11
