View windows ntfs partition filesystem.

Hi I’m running OpenSUSE 11.0 (Gnome) and I am trying to get into my windows partition so I can use some of the files there but am having some issues.

I can get into my fat32 partition and view files there (/windows/D) fine but the ntfs partition (/windows/C) is showing me no files whatsoever.

This is my fstab output:

/dev/disk/by-id/scsi-SATA_WDC_WD2000JS-55_WD-WCANL1447276-part6 swap                 swap       defaults              0 0

devpts               /dev/pts             devpts     mode=0620,gid=5       0 0

and this is my dg -Th output:

/dev/sda3     ext3     20G  4.2G   15G  23% /

Any help would be appricieted.

Add the option:

umask=0002

to your /windows/C drive.

Just for information:

/dev/disk/by-id/scsi-SATA_WDC_WD2000JS-55_WD-WCANL1447276-part1 /windows/C  ntfs-3g  locale=en_US.UTF-8 0 0

is easier

/dev/disk/by-id/scsi-SATA_WDC_WD2000JS-55_WD-WCANL1447276-part1 /windows/C   ntfs-3g  defaults 0 0

is easiest
