Videolan VLC repository is MIA

opensuse v13.2

I started my usual system update today. It quit because the VLC repo has disappeared. <http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/vlc/SuSE/13.2>. The “/pub/” directory is gone.

Does any one know what has happened to it?

There seems to be something wrong with the Videolan repo (see here: https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/503635-Unable-to-do-Zypper-Refresh

But why do you use? Use Packman instead.

I was unaware that Packman also distributed VLC.

Basicaly, you can use either Videolan or Packman, but most people use Packmane anyhow and you can not use both together.

Nope, you might try asking someone at videolan.org - they’re the ones who
maintain that repo.

FYI, I saw a report earlier today that it’s back - they had a server
issue, apparently.
