I’ve had problems with videos and music on opensuse 12.3 (gnome), and after following one click media tutorial my music works, but videos not.
When I try to install gstreamer packages that I need, I get the following message:
cannot install both gstreamer-plugins-good-1.0.5-2.1.5.x86_64 and gstreamer-plugins-good-1.0.7-2.1.x86_64
cannot install both gstreamer-plugins-bad-1.0.5-2.1.1.x86_64 and gstreamer-plugins-bad-1.0.7-2.1.x86_64
gstreamer-plugins-bad-orig-addon-1.0.7-2.1.x86_64 requires gstreamer-plugins-bad >= 1.0.7, but this requirement cannot be provided
Installing how, YaST or zypper? By selecting the correct solution, normally offered by YaST Software Management (that’s what I use), but you didn’t post the choice of solutions normally offered. There is usually a dependency that has to be removed and/or change of vendor (you have to agree to any of those) to achieve your objective.
