I am trying to install a video editor but both kdenlive and openshot want “libmlt4-data” and I can not find it anywhere. I am running Leap 42.2.
I just need a reasonable video editor…

There is shotcut to try
In tumbleweed and Leap 42.3 is in repo

I tried to use shotcut and it does not work, it fails to export
I see they have also put Flowblade, but they do not even part.
Strange because I’m using both kdenlive and openshot and none of then use this dependency. Have you tried to install using the official repo?
There is no rpm in Thumbleweed and Leap42.3.
I’ve solved installing Applimage https://software.opensuse.org/package/AppImageKit and then doing these steps https://github.com/AppImage/AppImageKit/wiki/FUSE
Then download Openshot http://www.openshot.org/download/
Get the execution permissions
Double click and part;)
