There’s quite a few video players installed as default in OpenSUSE, but there doesn’t seem to be any video editors. I’ve tried OpenMovie editor but that crashes when I try to export a video, and when trying to install LiVES it says there’s a dependency conflict.
Can anyone recommend any simple video editing software, something with just the functionality of Windows Movie Maker would be fine?

Hi
Have a look at Kino (Should be at pacman) http://www.kinodv.org/
Resurrecting an old thread, … there is a list of Video editing software for openSUSE here: Video editing - openSUSE
Note when it comes to dependency conflicts, one is best to setup their software repositories. … In fact, IMHO, setting up one’s repositories should be the very first thing one does after a successful openSUSE installation (assuming of course, that one has internet access one the PC with the fresh openSUSE installation). There is guidance here for setting up one’s repositories: Repositories - openSUSE-Community
