I was on the Hardware Compatibility List looking at people’s experience with video cards. Is there a place that summarizes opinions though, so that I could reasonably expect that what I buy will work without much fuss?
I have spent about 1.5 days trying to get my ATI Radeon 9250 working, to no avail. Before I spend another 1.5 days, I just want to buy something that will “just work”. I can’t lose anymore time.
Does anyone know of a list that ranks other user’s success with various video cards and OpenSUSE 11?

p.s. If anyone is curious, I would be inserting this card into a Dell Optiplex 740, viewing on a Samsung 245bw 1920x1200 LCD.
