Hello,
I installed Viber to my computer. Phone “sees” what I chat using Viber on computer but problem is Viber call. Exactly: when I want to call somebody on Viber, I can hear phone-ring in computer loudspeaker but call is not registred in phone of person I call to. Also, in pavu-control it appear two Viber indicators.
What I did wrong? Was it necessary my sim card to be in smartphone while I “registred” (synchronizes) Viber and computer (phone was without sim-card)?
Viber doesn’t require a SIM card for initial setup. But if you don’t have one, then you can only make calls while on WiFi. So if you have added the SIM card later on you need to register it within Viber if you want to make calls via mobile phone connection.
But, my question is: why connection can not “skip over” to the phone i dialed from my “computer-viber”? I can hear tone like connection establisher, but phone I called not even register call: I click somebody to call on Viber, in my earphones appears phone-ring-tone, but phone I call not ringing. Phone I call on Viber does not even regioster call and also does not ringing.
Desktop Viber is so behind and out of date with its mobile client that only chat works without problems. As of today Viber on latest TW, on my rig atleast, wont start. So switch to something else, Viber is garbage.
