@suse_paul you must allow the vendor switch, once thatâs done then zypper will respect the change without any config modification.

Anybody can get an OBS account and start contributing. But that doesnât mean that itâs the same as official openSUSE / SUSE packages in terms of code quality, security, quality control. Others may or may not have a close look at those packages.
This is a completely different level of trust, so it makes perfect sense to prompt the user to make a conscious decision about some OBS package replacing an official one from your distribution.
