VCE Init error (-22)

Greetings guys,
ever since i installed SUSE i keep getting this error. Tried a bunch of stuff people suggested on forums but never actually got any clues about how to fix it since none of the topics were actually SUSE related. I’m using dell inspiron with integrated Intel graphic card + AMD Radeon HD8670M.

This simply means your card ( 8000 series ) has no VCE support. See https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=205822

I might be wrong, but i have checked and this card should have VCE support.

  • Radeon HD 8570 to 8990 (except HD 8770 with VCE 2.0)
