Var log messages repporting strange error abaout network card

hi
i have a strange problem since yestarday …

i have not change anything on my Opsuse, only upgrade my nagios to the lastest release…

And now i have notice that my var log messages have this messages constantly

Aug 15 13:29:39 WatchMonitor kernel: [82225.740190] eth1: link up, 100Mbps, full-duplex, lpa 0x41E1
Aug 15 13:29:39 WatchMonitor kernel: [82225.741182] dm9601 6-2:1.0: eth1: kevent 4 may have been dropped
Aug 15 13:29:39 WatchMonitor kernel: [82225.780315] eth1: link up, 100Mbps, full-duplex, lpa 0x41E1
Aug 15 13:29:40 WatchMonitor kernel: [82225.820302] eth1: link up, 100Mbps, full-duplex, lpa 0x41E1
Aug 15 13:29:40 WatchMonitor kernel: [82225.845263] dm9601 6-2:1.0: eth1: kevent 4 may have been dropped
Aug 15 13:29:40 WatchMonitor kernel: [82225.860302] eth1: link up, 100Mbps, full-duplex, lpa 0x41E1

This eth1 is one usb dm9601(network card USB), that was working just fine, and is still working very well !!!
This network card is used to make bridge to my adsl modem and make the connection to the www.

Intrigued this Warn no ?
Was anyone else with this kind of warn ?

Could anyone try to explain me why is this happening ?

The release i m using is :
openSUSE 11.3 (i586)
VERSION = 11.3

I have no idea why that is happening.

If it were me, I would do a cold boot (shutdown, then power on again), to see if that corrects the problem.

Hi
Your usb port can’t provide enough power to the device, maybe when it works hard. Do you have access to a usb powered hub?

The command usb-devices should indicate how much it’s using.

hi
I have donne that but without luck…

I think that is not the issue. is one laptop Dell with nothing more in the other ports …
Tomorow i will try to find one HUB with AC and try in other port …
i have search on bigbrother for the problem and found some guys with +/- problem and they speak in change the Lan card …
I don t agree, but i will try …

i will post the results …

I’m not sure I understand what you say is wrong??
But I don’t know what a “kevent” is.

Wow, that’s very old, it has no maintenance. Would you not consider
upgrading to current 13.1?

Nope. Never heard it.

Hint: The word “Futbol” means a very different thing for you that for
me. And I know close to nil about one of the puports, and just a bit
more about the other, because I can not ban it from my proximity.
