Validation Check Failed ||||| Need a solution

Hi,

I am using opensuse 11.3 (64 Bit) Gnome.

Today, when I started the online update from yast it gave the following warning messages

File repomd.xml from repository Packman Repository
http://ftp.uni-erlangen.de/pub/mirrors/packman/suse/11.3/
is signed with the following GnuPG key, but the integrity check failed:

ID: 45A1D0671ABD1AFB
Fingerprint: F887 5B88 0D51 8B6B 8C53 0D13 45A1 D067 1ABD 1AFB
Name: PackMan Project (signing key) <packman@links2linux.de>
Created: 09/21/2010
Expires: 09/20/2014

This means that the file has been changed by accident or by an attacker
since the repository creator signed it. Using it is a big risk
for the integrity and security of your system.

After I selected no again this

File repomd.xml from repository Packman Repository
http://ftp.uni-erlangen.de/pub/mirrors/packman/suse/11.3/
is signed with the following GnuPG key, but the integrity check failed:

Created: 09/21/2010
Expires: 09/20/2014

This means that the file has been changed by accident or by an attacker
since the repository creator signed it. Using it is a big risk
for the integrity and security of your system.

And finally this

There was an error in the repository initialization.
|] Valid metadata not found at specified URL(s)
History:
- Signature verification failed for repomd.xml

I just also received a notification saying “A security signature is not present”

I didn’t modify anything regarding the repos.

What’s the reason behind these ?

/dev/loki: Invalid Packman repository metadata signature

Thanks to both for your replies.

Then I guess there is noting wrong at my end.

Just one more thing. While updating, when asked if I want to use the key what should I select yes or no ?
