/usr/lib/gst-install-plugins-helper requires an additional plugin to play this file ~ MS GSM decoder

I get above error when trying to play a .WAV file. I’ve installed the following & lib1gsm/libgsm1-32bit is present. Bit stuck.

You apparently need gstreamer-plugins-bad (and gstreamer-0_10-plugins-bad) for MS GSM decoder. And please check if all your gstreamer packages are from Packman…:wink:

Well, I just googled for “MS GSM decoder gstreamer” in this case…

I lacked the “gstreamer” part.
