Hi,
I’m having a few issues with reliability with a hosted mirror in Australia
https://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/opensuse/tumbleweed/repo/oss/
. When doing a dup
curl crashes when the rpm file is too big.
But the mirror also uses the rsync protocol which is fast and reliable.
I tried to replace the repo with this rsync://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/opensuse/tumbleweed/repo/oss/
via Yast but it doesn’t like the rsync protocol and only seems to like using http, https, ftp.
Am I correct in now thinking that I can not use rsync as a repo protocol? The rsync mirrors are there only if I want to dump the repo to say my local drive?
Thanks
Chris.
