Dear Friends,
I want to use an opensuse 12.3 linux box as a router and a firewall inside my LAN.
LAN is 192.168.16.0/24
The linux box has 2 NICs. One will be used as external and other as internal zone. I want to create a new subnet. The external zone (IP) will be 192.168.16.x
Can anyone help me please!

What have you tried so far? If you run sudo /sbin/yast lan you can
configure the networking on both network cards. You can also assign each
network card to a different firewall zone via sudo /sbin/yast firewall.
