Using a ADSL Modem with a combined services router

I made a mistake recently while looking for a high through put adsl router. It is but has a 10base T wan input for the adsl. Rather than send it back I bought and adsl modem and have set that up in bridge mode to form the interface between the telephone line and the router.

I have the router working on the internet and on the local network. What I can’t currently do is bring up the modems admin pages as they are effectively on the wan. Anyone have any ideas what I need to do? The modem defaults to 192.168.1.1, the router to 192.168.10.1.

When I set the modem up I simply used it as a single output adsl modem connected to the network connection on my PC. I found that I needed to reboot may machine to get the internet to work and to access it’s admin page. Since setting it to bridge mode I can’t access it at all even that way? Any ideas?

The router is a d-link dsr-250n and the modem is a dsl-320b. I’m tempted to switch to a zoom bridge modem as the uplink speed can be higher but the d-link is a well regarded unit.

Thanks ( I hope)
