Lost my DVD Burner, here is my problem, My bootloader is /dev/sda1, 100mb, on Linux Native, ext4, “System Reserved”
I have a Windows 7 system on SDA and Opensuse 12.1 on SDB. If I disconnect my Linux system hard drive in order to use the sata1 to drive my DVD Burner so I can load drivers under Window 7 for adapter card, it will not boot gives me a grub 22 error.
Is there a fix in Grub Loader to be able to separate out the original Windows 7 mbr so Windows 7 will boot from the original hard drive, without having Grub Loader from disconnected hard drive?
I need an answer as soon as possible, PLEASE. What is my choices, hopefully the simpler the better…

What you probably need to do is fix the Windows MBR:

Tell us this, are you chain loading from your grub partition?
Did you create your grub partition before or after installing opensuse.
post a pic of your grub screen or describe it, eg; is it the ugly default, or the opensuse customized.
