Sometime back I received help from forum member @tannington so grateful for the time that Paul took to explain the items in question ( in detail ), I was looking to click onto the star to add to member’s reputation .
At the time I Could not find or see this

This puzzled me that must be something wrong with Me, Firefox, why is it on the forum I could not find that star, then a few weeks ago I changed the background/foreground colours on the Firefox addon, made background a smidgen lighter and text a smidgen darker, the problem was ME :shame: 0ops.
and found that elusive star
A strong dark background is not good if you are searching for a star on the forum here when or if using Firefox addon > ‘Dark Background and Light Text’
I made the background #3d3d3d or lighter if you want, the foreground text is #e5d7c3 although that’s not as important although it’s good for the eyes
I’ve posted this so anyone looking up the question of the user’s rep hopefully finds this and it’s of use with their Firefox addon.
