I have an external HD and I have access to his data, but I can’t create and change their data. I changed the system settings, but nothing I do is worth it. Already includes the user in groups: root; users, wheel. Can you help me? What file system is being used on that drive? (“ext4” or “ntfs” or “fat”, etc).

Is the drive permanently mounted (automatically mounts at boot), or is it mounted when plugged in?

It is the same HD, however partitioned. I can access the partition, but I can’t make any changes. Every time the computer starts up I need to mount it again. The file system is NTFS, being mounted on / run / media / administrator / Inter Files

Is it mounted automatically? Is there an entry in “/etc/fstab” to mount this?

If there is, please post that line from “/etc/fstab” – and use CODE tags to post that.
