What do you have ?
You get to a command line session (no GUI) ?
Or you go straight to the desktop without any prompt for login/password ?

Hi Guys,
I have installed Gnome and i want it to prompt me for a password when it boots. Yes it is GUI

as root, edit the file:

/etc/sysconfig/displaymanager

look for DISPLAYMANAGER_AUTOLOGIN="<user>"

remove the username there
