I have recently installed Opensuse 11.4 on my desktop. And also upgraded my gnome-2 to gnome-3. Its works nice and I am enjoying it.
Only the biggest problem I am facing is, if I lock the screen and leave my desk for couple of hours then user gets logged out automatically. Which is resulting all the documents and applications gets closed. I am unable to work in my desktop now.
Any suggestions would be great help.

i don’t use gnome, but i guess there is are power management settings
somewhere…check them…
because, if you (for example) have the power management profile set to
“Suspend Session” after xx minutes of inactivity (when AC power is
plugged in), it will end the session, as commanded.

Thanks for the reply. But in my case, After I locked my session sometimes it gets logged-out automatically within few minutes and sometime it stays locked for overnight.
I googled this problem but didn’t get any as such clue or workaround for this.

Hi
When you say upgraded, did you follow this openSUSE:GNOME 3.0 - openSUSE and have you updated to Gnome Shell 3.0.2?
Yupp, I followed the same link for the Test upgrade steps.
I didn’t do anything apart from the steps given in “http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:GNOME_3.0”
