Hello, I would like to use usb webcam from other computer by network whith sound. What the remote desktop software, which support the transport of audio and share usb devices (GPL or Proprietary - no value)?
Many thanks in advance.
I presume you should be able to configure cheese to operate over a local network. Beyond that, aMSN for MSN or GYacHE or Kopete for Yahoo; alternatively, mebeam.com.
(Thanks to Martin Ranyard for those tips).
Thanks for answer. But I don’t know how to use Cheese to configure webcam by local network… I think, that true remote desktop software must provide to transport audio and share usb, prompt please such software. Or say how I can do this with Cheese and how to transport audio (input and output).
Help please.
Just got a Logitech 9000 to work with OpenSuse 11.0 64 bit.
Worked on the first try too!
