USB Storage

Hi All,

I am running SUSE11.0 kde4.1.1.

When I connect my USB flash it is shown in konqurer. I can read the drive.
But I am not able to add/delete/modify any of the contents.

Please advice.

assuming you checked a possible hardware write lock on the device: Which file system on the USB device are we talking about?

also i need to share info between a linux machine and a win machine. so i need to keep it ntfs/fat.

I’d just format it as vfat then.
