I have just upgraded to 11.4 from 11.1. I have a Windows app. running in .wine and it uses a serial port. I’m using a serial to USB converter and it was running correctly in 11.1. I have used the ln -s /dev/ttyUSB0 ~/.wine/dosdevices/com1 command to activate the USB port for my serial port requirement. The Windows application shows the availability of the USB to serial connection, but I can’t make a connection to flow data. What did I miss. Is there something different in 11.4.
Fixed problem. I added my login to “dialout” group. Adding to “uucp” group did not work.
