Hi Everyone,
I would like to make a suggestion regarding drivers include in openSUSE. Nowdays many normal pc speakers are changing their interface to USB. I have a new set of USB speakers at home, but unfortunately they do not work on my openSUSE 11.1 machine.
Would it be possible for the openSUSE community to develop USB speaker drivers?

Do these speakers act as a sound card? What does
lsusb
tell us?
When it is an USB sound card you can use YaST > Hardware > Sound to configure it. Click Add and choose Generic in the left column, then USB in the right, Finish.
