USB MOUNT FAILURE

Hello.

I am using kde.

I have bought some low-cost usb stick that seems to be 2.0 but I hope one can use these kind of usb device.

For usb stick ntfs formated I get a lot error of these kind :

I run into the same problem with ext4 formated stick ( I have not keep the error message )

With both type of format, i will be able to format or reformat the stck, copy data, and re-reed the data.
The problem seems to arise the next time I want to reuse the stick.

When I remove the usb stick from the device notifier, when I got the message that tell me that I can remove the stick, the activity light is still blinking for a long long time, depending of the data quantity i have written.

Any help or comments are welcome.

You have bought USB that lie about how big they are.
There are you tube videos about the 4tb and 8tb drives that are really just 256mb or 512mb with the hard info saying they are bigger. This is true for 64, 128, and 256 gb drives on ebay and china.
What you get when you format them is what you are experiencing.

I have no problem during format operation.
I have only problem when I use the stick.

The size of transfered files is small enought : ~ 1Gib
I think the problem is about the times the data are effectively written on the usb stick and any needed pointers of all kinds are really updates.

In fact when kde device manager tell me that I can remove the stick, it is false.
I loose my data at each attempt to remove the stick.
