Usb Mic not detected by Kmix

Hi
My Usb mic is not showing up in Kmix for some strange reason
I have Kubuntu kde 4.1 also, and my usb mic Does show in kmix
And i had no problems with my usb mic in OpenSuse 11 Kde3.5x, but i recently reinstalled with Kde4.1 and now my usb mic is not there.

Any suggestions on how to make my mic visible in Kmix so i can use it? I have tried some other mixers, and they don’t show my mic either

Nevermind “again” lol
Its now detected.

strangely, After a couple of reboots, it is now detected and working.
phew
I was gonna start cursing kde4.1, but tis all good now :d
