usb keyboard to buy

Dear all,
I was about to buy a keyboard for my linux distro…then it came to my mind the question…
are there any usb keyboards that are a bit better supported in linux? (in the sense that some of their special keys are better supported (i.e play music, opwn browser, set volume up and down)?)

I think any is fine. It depends more on the DE you use. Gnome und KDE
work best for all special keys.

using LXDE on 11.4 x64 and happy with a cup of really hot coffee…

and what about all these customized buttons like (play music, browser)…also the same question for mouse with more than 3 mouse buttons. Does linux support more than 3 mouse buttons?
