USB Keyboard issues (keys not working)

I am getting crazy, my USB keyboards and mice are all not working properly. what is happening.
be it 2.5G wireless or one with a cord. They worked all fine until they suddenly 5 different keyboards.

Bluetooth Keyboards work fine on the otherhand.

CTRL-C combinations don’t work reliably.

How come BT is ok and the build in keyboard of the notebook, but all others don’t.

I tried with USB hub, without USB Hub, but working is more fighting with the computer.
mice don’t move as they should, but BT does.

Two possibilities: The keyboards and mouse are bad or the usb hub on your computer is having issues.
Do you have another system handy to try the keyboards and mouse on? do you have another keyboard to try on this system?
check the integrity of the hardware first, it is the easiest to troubleshoot.

after that you need to determine if the the system usb is at the issue.
If you have a live distro to boot from and see if it is a driver problem is another step to check.

I tried 4 different sets, of keyboards and mice.

Windows and Ubuntu don’t have this issue on the same machine.

4 different USB ports and Hubs.

This started after some update. There is also another thread complaining.

that narrows it down to a driver issue most likely, check what divers were updated when the issue was noticed. see if you can roll back to the previous version.
