-=welcome=- to the forum!!
i’ve never heard of those before so i can’t offer specific help,
however the following may be useful…
the box it came in:
-
did it say Linux compatible? or something like “Linux ready”?
-
did it have a Tux penguin next to the smiling MacOS or Winders logo?
-
did it have a CD inside with a Linux driver included?
-
did it have any printed documentation with instructions on how to
install a Linux driver, or references to a company web site where you
might find such a driver and instructions?
have you followed those instructions and had problems? what kind?

Here they say this one is linux compatible and supply drivers but not sure if it’s your model

Hi
I’m assuming when you mean mouse it’s the shape? You need to install
the program called gspd and also enable the usbfs via editing your
fstab;
gnomesu gedit /etc/fstab
or
kdesu kate /etc/fstab
You need to change the noauto to auto in the following line and then
save and exit;
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs noauto 0 0
Then try starting gspd (as root user) and you should see data start to
appear.

Is this a typo? I suppose that where you have gspd you mean gpsd. Because that is in the OSS repos and it says
gpsd - Service daemon for mediating access to a GPS
