USB DVD drive

Hi chaps,

the dvd drive on my laptop has packed up i think (well, it doesn’t recognise discs!!) so wondered whether this would work with opensuse 12.3

My experience in general has been that USB DVD drives work fine (I had an
internal IDE drive that I put in a USB enclosure and it worked fine -
slow, but fine).
