Hi:
I’m finding a very strange behavior of my system since a while ago. I have a cellphone with bluetooth connectivity. I use a notebook which is currently running OpenSuse 11.3 and which does not have built-in bluetooth, so I bought a usb bluetooth adaptor. Things worked fine for me in OpenSuse 11.1 but since I upgraded to 11.2 (and now 11.3), I couldn’t connect my phone and my computer ever again.
What was happening to me until my last try (around a month ago), was that the wizard asked me to introduce a password on my phone, but before I could even read the whole password, it would fail to connect.
Today I tried to hook up my cell to an Ubuntu with Gnome (The same desktop I use at home), and had no trouble sending files from the phone to the computer.
I just checked the /var/log/messages file when I plugged the bluetooth adaptor in and this is what I got:
Sep 11 15:18:15 arturo kernel: [500885.205034] usb 2-2: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 11
Sep 11 15:18:15 arturo kernel: [500885.393526] usb 2-2: New USB device found, idVendor=1caa, idProduct=0001
Sep 11 15:18:15 arturo kernel: [500885.393531] usb 2-2: New USB device strings: Mfr=0, Product=0, SerialNumber=0
Still, my system claims I have no bluetooth adaptor installed.
Another problem I’m having regards a digital photo frame, which is also supposed to be used by plugging it into the usb port. Now, when I do plug it in, nothing happens on my computer side, but on the frame screen I see a link to the computer >:(
Again, looking at the /var/log/messages file, nothing new comes up…
This post is related to USB Digital Photo Fram:e (I think), since both problems are happening with the usb ports…
Actually, the frame I was using in that post was a different one (a pocket one), but the problem is the same. Here is the output of /var/log/messages

Finally, I use a digital camera to take pictures and never had any problem downloading them to my computer so… is this a driver problem?
This is the output of /var/log/messages when I plug the camera in:

Sorry for the long post, this is really annoying me. Thanks for your help!
