I’ve got an Acer Swift3 with a keyboard like this:
The backslash key doesn’t work, but strangely, Shift+backslash does produce a pipe ||||||
How do I fix this?
Noting that the backslash works normally in the login screen, and stops working after I begin using GNOME desktop, apps, etc.
I fixed it.
Somehow under keyboard in the settings app, I had mapped the backslash key as a system shortcut. When I found and deleted it, everything works.
