Upgrading my slowroll drops with bootlader-errots

trying to repair an existing slowroll installation drops unfixable errors regarbing grub2-bls …

Possibly related to bug 1247952? A fix in TW 20250814, maybe it takes a few weeks before it trickles down to Slowroll install media…

This needs some more detail about what you are doing or what you are trying to do.

As a guess (perhaps a bad one), perhaps you are trying to upgrade a system with legacy booting but you booted the installer to UEFI mode. Or perhaps the reverse of that.

logs@ https://offline.mojo.cc/y2log-i2SCJx.tar.xz

pls … any hint may help … i use latest slowroll-35.3-iso

thank you … existing system is UEFI , /boot resides on md-device

issue may be that i boot from iso (for upgrade) and commonly no access to /etc/sysconfig/bootload … but me be ok to set the value in chroot and try again … i will try that or wait for more recent slowroll-iso … thank you

Not really clear what you are “trying to repair”. If the bootloader doesn’t work, there should be an option in the install media to “Boot existing installation” or similar.
If you can boot the system that way, you should be able to repair the bootloader from within the running system?

The error message did suggest that you report a bug. See openSUSE:Submitting bug reports for advice on how to report bugs. You can upload that “y2log” file to the bug report, where people experienced at handling this can examine it.

You may have tried to do something that the installer code doesn’t currently support.
