Yes.

thnx so much. ill try. some tips r always welcome

First tip - I wouldn’t actually use the DVD at all. It has KDE 4.1 on it, and there’s not really any point in using that - 4.2 is better, and almost certainly more stable.

I imagine, though I’m not certain, that if you do a search for instructions to install KDE 4.2, enable the correct repositories, then choose the KDE ‘patterns’ in YaST, it’ll work.

It’s not really an upgrade as KDE3 and KDE4 can be installed in
parallel. You basically install the KDE4 pattern, either the released
packages or updated ones, see http://en.opensuse.org/KDE4
Then select KDE4 in the session menu at the login screen. Unneeded KDE3
packages may be removed.

still hvnt found a solution. plz help

Try creating a new user in YaST, and log in with it.

Does this user suffer the same problem?

If not, then the problem is some kind of misconfiguration in the first user. You can probably get around this by entering a terminal (as the problematic user) and typing

mv ~/.kde4 ~/.kde4.old
