upgrading from 10.0 to 11.1

I have fileserver (samba&appletalk) with suse 10.0. I want to upgrade it to 11.1 version with installation DVD. Any tricks or it is fairly easy ?
Slow internet connection so no network upgrade.

Very simple.

  • Backup your data

  • Make a clean fresh install and NO upgrade, that won’t work when “jumping” from 10.0 to 11.1, only upgrading to the next version (with some luck one can do an upgrade leaving out one version in between, but you would leave out four versions).
