I am afraid a better explantion is needed.
What exactly did you do. Where did you see that line of code and what did you expect to see there, etc. We can not look over your shoulder.
Installed 42.3 from a USB stick, and got it working and booting.
A few days later I did the upgrade to 15.0 from within 42.3 after changing repo URLs in YaST, and doing zypper dup
I found/find that line of code in YaST Boot Loader section in the ‘kernel’ tab, in a box in the middle of the kernel tab, 2nd tab from the left.
It was the boot loader kernel code in 42.3, and I still see it in 15.0.
I thought the upgrade would have changed to reflect the upgrade to 15.0. Guess not?
Incidently, that is the same code I see in both grub and grub.cfg scripts cmdlines (both 42.3 and 15.0). Sorry I don’t have a copy of it from 42.3 anymore.
My version of YaST doesn’t look like that. I only have
resume=/dev/sda2 splash=silent quiet showopts
under Optional Kernel Command Line Parameter in the Kernel tab. I did the command line upgrade from 42.3 to 15.0.
I did the upgrade to 15.0 via online as well and had the same result as yourself.
Just ended up changing the verbiage myself.
Is the USB still listed in your repos?
It was listed - but I removed the entry.
Same as when I used to install w/DVD.
No, as far as I know, it never was listed in YaST repo section in 42.3 nor 15.0.
@McQueen>> what verbiage did you change it to? (Please remember I am a new user and not conversecent with this system yet.)
Nothing more than editing /boot/grub2/grub.cfg and changing references of 42.3 to 15.0.
