- Machine does not boot the default kernel. I get a green screen with three flashing balls. Mouse and keyboard are not working (20.11 kernel)
- 15.x (older) kernel boots
- Upgrade borked my network settings, had to redo them
- Hard disk LED on front, constantly on:
405 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 15.33 0.000 9:43.45 md126_raid5
411 root 20 0 0 0 0 D 4.667 0.000 1:58.78 md126_resync
Raid rebuilding because of upgrade?
I also see this:
systvburk:~ # systemctl status cm_usb.service
cm_usb.service
Loaded: loaded (/etc/init.d/cm_usb)
Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since Thu 2016-04-14 20:45:22 EEST; 1min 48s ago

When trying the latest kernel in failsafe mode it gets as far as this:
http://www.pedago.fi/dalton/diverse/Boot_20160415_195812_resized.jpg
Ie hangs on the USB hub, does the same even if I pull all USB devices, apart from keyboard and mouse.
Motherboard is an ASUS Z97-P LGA1150 Intel Z97 4x DDR3 max 32GB PCI-E HDMI
That’s the plymouth screen (progress indicator). You can hit ESC to see the messages.
Sorry, I don’t have any help to offer. My best guess is that your problem is RAID related. I do not have any experience with RAID.
Nrickert,

Not as the keyboard and mouse are dead… Anyway, running in failsafe
shows the screen and it seems to be USB-related.

See above, but possibly related to this bug:

Will try disabling USB3 tomorrow.
Another option would be to try an extra USB PCI card.
