upgrade to windows 8.1 brakes out booting options, opensuse 13.1

After upgrading from windows 8 to 8.1, windows 8.1 start by default, without the Grub2-efi boot loader options.
Opensuse 13.1 is only accessible only by windows and only after selecting settings->troubleshooting-> Boot from Opensuse.
What should I do to get my grub loader working again?
Thanks in advance for yr time and help!

History Until now:
Firtstly I had opensuse 12.3 installed creating partition from windows (diskmanager > shrink volume). Then updated from DVD to 13.1. and everyting was ok with booting. The problem appeared only after the upgrade to windows 8.1
I have already disabled again (at windows) the power options fast reboot after the 8.1 upgrade.

Windows doesn’t play nicely with other operating systems/bootloaders -
you need to boot into openSUSE (which is sounds like you can do), and
then use YaST to reinstall the grub2 bootloader.

That should solve the issue.

Did you try to change the boot order in the UEFI firmware? :expressionless:
Can you select grub2 via the UEFI bootmanager, hitting F12 (or another similar key, depending on the hardware in use) during boot time?

Problem solved ! :good:
Following the instructions of hendersj](https://forums.opensuse.org/members/hendersj.html) , reinstalling boot loader everything works out fine!
By the way, using f12 key while starting gave the option to start with opensuse but it failed afterwords with windows 8.1 starting instead.

Thank u both for your rime and help!
