Upgrade from Leap 42.2 to Leap 42.3 results in RPM CACHE ERROR

I was upgrading a HP business pc FROM Leap 42.2 TO 42.3 when I encountered an RPM cache error. I tried installing from CD and USB and the error always occurs at about 97% completion.

Sorry for the size.

Was able to upgrade without issue from 42.1 to 42.2 a few weeks ago.

The first idea - root filesystem full. Otherwise if RPM db is already corrupted on disk, it does not matter which installation method you will use. Did you try command it suggested?

Gave it a try after letting the system reboot. The Gui loaded but I went to the Console logged on and ran the rebuild command. I then ran the upgrade again although the system completed although a handful of packages didn’t install but they were of little consequence. System appears to be running OK. Now off to upgrade my main system running 13.2. I have a choice of three 42.x installs or just doing a fresh install. Which is what I usually end up doing.
