upgrade from 11.1 to 11.2 caused problems with iceccd

I updated from 11.1 to 11.2 open SuSe (which went very well generally) but after the update when I did a “/etc/init.d/icecream start” it reported “done” then a “/etc/init.d/icecream status” it reported “dead” after vast trying to find where it failed (no logged data anywhere" I accidentally found out why it was failing

I unmounted /var/cache/icecream (which I normally have mounted as “mount -t tmpfs tmpfs /var/cache/icecream” this use to work on 11.1 but on 11.2 if it is mounted iceccd will not run (don’t know why) and if not mounted iceccd works find

What do I need to do to get iceccd to work with the tmpfs mounted?

and where should I post “help” messages?

I suppose you should post in the Applications sub-forum. Or in one of the programming sub-fora, if you’re talking about the distributed KDE compiling thing.
