upgrade 10.3 to 11.0 - slower ifort, g95 execution

I just upgraded from 10.3 to 11.0 and noticed that the execution is pretty much lazier than before (based on ifort or g95). Anybody did experience it? Is there any solution/explanation?
Thanks!

I would say that upgrading, especially from one major version to another as in your case, leads to a broken system, in one way or another. There are just to many and to big differences between them for the installation system to fix things automatically. Finding and fixing the problems manually at this point could surely be a major ordeal. Even if you somehow should be able to fix your problems with ifort and g95 there will most likely be more problems to come.
Backing up your personal data and settings and making a fresh install of openSuSE 11.0 is probably the best way to go here.

Yeah, I’m having the same difficulties with ifort.
It my favorite fortran compiler and I’m very disappointed, that latest versions of this ifort is not more full opensuse-compatible.

It can be installed though, but works slow. It worked quicker in 10.3 because ifort was compatile with that OS, kernel and glibc versions. Now it is no more (( no more auto-code-paralleling and other things.

Probably there is a way to manually install this ifort on opesuse for full compatibility, but I have not found it yet… =(
