updating klamav does not work

greetings,
i tried to install / compile klamav, but i get this weird error …
anyone has got an idea what’s going on? … here’s the log:

Have you tried installing it from the repo’s ? Much easier than trying
to compile

In agreement with Andy here. And to add. Sometimes the updates in the
repo go wonky as the Clam part and Klam don’t seem to get packaged
together for the update, so you have to wait a day or two.

Just verifying and clarification…

AFAIK there is a problem updating the KlamAV application itself, there
isn’t necessarily a problem receiving signature updates.

I was talking about the application not the v.sig’s. I never actually
use the darn thing.
