Sleep has always been slightly flakey on this lenovo laptop - there being a random chance that it will fail to awaken properly, but since updating to kernel 6.11 it is permanently borked.
And the nature of the borked behaviour has changed also:
Where in the past it would occasionally sort of blue-screen, now it awaken from sleep with a black screen, but a functional and responsive mouse pointer.
No random key combination i can think of can alter the blank black background, i.e. return me to a kde desktop. Or the cursor, it remains perfectly functional - just nothing to interact with.
Is the described behaviour indicative of a failure of a particular component?
i.e. X, screenlocker, etc
