Updating from 11.0 to 11.1

Hi,
I use opensuse 11.0. Is it possible to update from 11.0 to 11.1 with Yast? How can I do that?
Is it worth to do it now or is 11.1 still unstable?

Ok, is it already worth to upgrade now to 11.1 or better wait?

  1. One should (at least!) wait until 11.1 is stable.
  2. ‘zypper dup’ won’t be quite enough, that simply will upgrade any package to the most recent version as provoded by the activated repositories.
  3. The SuSE-DVD provides an option to upgrade an installed system to a newer version.
    3a. Yet that is not as convenient as upgrading for example an Ubuntu. Packages not provided by SuSE itself (for example coming from 3rd-party-repositories) will be removed. I recommend a fresh install while keeping the /home-partition unformatted.
