Updating 15.5 corrupts current snapshot

Have tried updating my 15.5 workstation three times, each time the current snapshot corrupts! Summery:

285 packages to upgrade, 5 new, 1 to change arch.
Overall download size: 1.07 GiB. Already cached: 17.6 MiB. After the operation, additional 270.7 MiB will be used.

Appreciate any ideas on how to isolate/fix, …

Thanks!

The actual error or a description what fails is missing in your post. Any terminal output (posted in preformatted text tags </> available in the forum editor upper bar)?

The error is during grub2 boot: Boot from previous snapshot

Just tried updating 15.5 and then to 15.6, … same problem - rebooting produces the Grub2 “Boot from previous snapshot” choices.

Grub2 had popped up an “edit MDK” screen before the list of snapshots to pick from, picked the one before the update.

How does one troubleshoot this sort of problem?

TIA!
