Hello,
Well I was trying to fix my ATI video driver problem when all of a sudden another problem comes up. I get the Authentication box to install updates so I input my root password and now the updates go crazy! I get around 9 boxes that open up saying that “Updates are Being Installed”. It won’t stop and I don’t know how to stop it after it starts. I seriously doubt it’s installing this many updates! If anyone knows of a fix I’d appreciate it.
Thanks,
Dom:P
really difficult for us to say what has happened as we don’t know WHAT you did.
Hello caf4926,
I really don’t think I did anything! I accepted all the defaults when 11.1 installed, I’m not a seasoned openSUSE user. It was about 2 weeks after the install that it started doing this update thing. I have installed some packages but I didn’t add any repositories other than my download folder on my hard drive.
I suspect you clicked a OneClick installer
