Updates keep appearing (Leap 16.0)

Hi.

I installed Leap 16 some days ago and these updates keep appearing even though I already executed sudo zypper up, sudo zypper patch, and tried to apply the updates using the GUI:

GNOME Software:

Myrlyn:

Am I missing something?

Do you click in myrlyn on the Package Update Button on the left?
And then on Accept?

Yep. That worked. Thanks!

I tried installing the update through GNOME Software but it always appeared again. I had to manually install Myrlyn since it was not installed by default when I installed Leap 16.

Thank you in advance…So is using myrlyn to update the same as using cockpit to update or do I have my head up my suse?

Package solver abilities is key for some updates (especially when multiple repos are involved). For that zypper (CLI) or Myrlyn (GUI) are the best tools (both relying on libzypp). Cockpit is fine for basic update maintenance, especially on server-style systems, but it uses PackageKit, and doesn’t expose solver decisions, hence zypper or Myrlyn are better when the solver needs human input, which does happen on Leap from time to time.
