Hi
Can I ask about the difference between updates and changes in software manager?
when I check the update manager I found
There are no software updates available for your computer at this time.
but when I open software manager from Yast I found alot of changes to dowload
What is the difference?
Could you tell us what version of openSUSE you have and if you use kde or gnome.
When you say ‘updates’ do you mean the updates applet?
I have opensuse 11.4 gnome
I mean updates from “software updates” in “system” menu
That’s the same as the applet notifier that shows in the sys tray, assuming you didn’t disable it like me.
Though I can’t say I have experienced what you describe.
Still, I use software manager always.

*NB: I use the QT Yast, it’s easier
Switch Yast Interface to QT
I am sorry but I can’t understand you
My language isn’t very good
but the applet notifier is hidden. I can’t see it and I didn’t disable it
I know it’s hidden
Tell you what. Post the result of this from a terminal for me:
zypper lr -d
I changed some repositories
zypper lr -d
1 | Debug | Debug | No | No | 99 | yast2 | Index of /debug/distribution/11.4/repo/oss |
2 | Packman Repository | Packman Repository | Yes | Yes | 99 | rpm-md | Index of /suse/openSUSE_11.4/ |

Really.
It looks OK
The updater should work. I suggest you do this though:

What are you playing ?
Try different applications Eg: Banshee, SMPlayer, VLC
What about the test sound in Yast?
