Updated To Kernel 5.7.1-1-default Today - System Won't Boot To Graphical Desktop?

Hi,

Did an update today and now my system won’t boot to a graphical desktop?
The kernel updated to 5.7.1-1-default (from 5.6.14-1-default).
Running openSUSE Tumbleweed KDE 64Bit.

I am able to load the old kernel to get to a graphical desktop.
What do I do to fix the above?
(I have an nVidia GPU with v440.82 proprietary display driver)

Let me know, thanks!

Jesse

It was reported the NVIDIA needs to be patched. If you’re using from the NVIDIA repository, then wait until it lands there, otherwise see here: https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/540482-Heads-Up-5-7-1-kernel-and-Nvidia-440-82-driver-patch

Hi
Did you see this thread…?

If your using the repository for the Nvidia install, you need to wait for the fixed version to be released…

Ok, thanks!
